Member Benefits

  • Be a part of an active, all women, all volunteer, organization that fundraises to support graduate and undergraduate STEM research.
  • Professional and career network opportunities with universities, sponsors and members
  • Social events include visits to partner universities, STEM focused field trips, member social events, and intellectually stimulating discussion from prominent members in the scientific, medical and technology industries 

Steps to Membership

  • Membership in ARCS Foundation Metro Washington Chapter (MWC) is by invitation.
  • Women interested in joining our Chapter must be sponsored by one active member and be approved by the board. 
  • We also welcome ARCS scholars and scholar alums to become members of our Chapter.

Active Members

  • Annual Dues $500
  • $150 for Chapter Dues & $350 Scholar Fund 
  • All dues are 100% tax deductible 
  • All Active Members shall have voting privileges
  • Active participant of a committee
  • May serve on Board
  • May sponsor a prospective member
  • Attend Annual Meeting 

New Members – 1st Year 

  • Annual Dues $500 + $50 initiation fee
  • $150 for Chapter Dues & $350 Scholar Fund
  • All dues are 100% tax deductible 
  • All rights and privileges of an Active Member

Recent Graduate Members

  • Annual Dues $50
