Adam Caccavano is the 2018-19 Forster Family Foundation Scholar and a first year MWC scholar. Mr. Caccavanno is a Ph.D. candidate in Neuroscience at Georgetown University. Mr. Caccavano's research focuses on how the hippocampal network activity, which is critical for memory consolidation, that is impaired by Alzheimer's disease. He is investigating the neuronal microcircuitry with the tools of electrophysiology, calcium imaging, and computational modeling.
