We are proud to welcome Matthew Kerr, Johns Hopkins University, as one of our 2011-2012 scholars. He is a Virginia and Paul Wright Scholar, studying biomedical engineering. His research is brain-machine interfacing, with the goal that his work will allow individuals who have lost their hands to regain normal function through prosthetic hands controlled by brain signals.
