ARCS MWC is excited to introduce our newest member, Carolyn Hayward-Williams. She is sponsored by her neighbor and longtime friend Patty Sparrell.

Carolyn has been married to her husband,Terry, for 29 years and they have two daughters. Carolyn is an electrical engineering graduate of Vanderbilt University and John’s Hopkins University, and currently a government worker at the US Department of Transportation, Federal Railroad Administration. Her work career has spanned almost 40 years, including several years in the defense industry designing radar systems and now 30+ years in rail transportation (railroad signaling systems), working in Europe, Asia and the U.S. Her passion is the development and application of technology to improve transportation safety. 

As Patty's guest, Carolyn has attended several ARCS events and heard from so many students who have benefited from ARCS's support. She is honored to be asked to join ARCS. She hopes to bring her passion for transportation safety and technology to the MWC organization, as well as her time, as her daughters are now in college and starting their careers.
