Ravinder Sandhoo joined ARCS MWC in November and is sponsored by Patty Sparrell.
Ravinder has extensive experience in project management, supply chain risk management, information systems management, time and resource management, education outreach, budget and financial planning, conflict resolution, event planning and fundraising. She has worked at GEVernova, NASA, Interos, and Tierra Luna Engineering. She earned a degree in Finance and Economics from the University of Ottawa and an MBA in Information Systems from Wright State University.
At one point while supporting her Navy husband, GP Sandhoo, and spending time raising their boys, she held multiple volunteer leadership positions including President of the preschool. She also headed multiple activities at her sons' elementary and middle schools (e.g. STEM Seminars, Multicultural Night).
Volunteering for the ARCS Foundation aligns with her strong advocacy for STEM education. She has a personal connection to the organization, as it supported her husband’s doctoral work in aerospace engineering. ARCS Foundation's mission makes it a perfect platform for her to contribute to a cause that she is passionate about.
Ravinder attended both the 2024 MWC Eagle/Anniversary Event and the 2024 SAR event with GP and was very impressed. She has lots of ideas to share with ARCS and is already participating in the Communications Council.
In her spare time, she likes to travel, forage, and spend time with her family. Her husband is an ARCS Scholar Alum from George Washington University, and their two sons are at the US Naval Academy.
Ravinder, Welcome to ARCS MWC!
